Visit

There’s nothing like the convenience of shopping online.

And there’s nothing like the experience of visiting us in person.

We’re so proud of what we’ve built. The new home of the Lititz Outsider was the original home of the Lititz Record Express. 100 years ago, our brick walls held the heavy printing equipment that labored around the clock to tell the news of the day and print bulletins for the town. Young boys on bicycles picked up packs of fresh papers to deliver. This building told the town’s stories.

Now, we hope it helps you tell yours. We want to be the place where your best chapters begin, where you find the hiking shoes that will carry you on your most epic adventure, the tent that will hold your children’s late night giggles, the pack that will rest on your shoulders as you traverse nature’s most breathtaking landscapes, or the gravel bicycle that will help you discover the area’s best backroads, and your own potential.

We spent months renovating this space with care. It’s important to us that we honor its history, and design it in a way that feels fresh far into the future. It’s our hope that you’ll want to experience it again and again, to stop in and discover the latest biking, hiking, camping, and climbing equipment, and share your latest adventures with our team.

There’s history in our walls, adventure in our hearts, and a serious desire to share it all with you.

Getting Here:

The Lititz Outsider is nestled in the heart of downtown Lititz, at 22 East Main Street, Rear. The “rear” part of our address means we sit back a bit off the street. Luckily, we have some landmarks that make us easy to find! If you’re on Main Street, head toward the famous Bulls Head Public House. A sidewalk to the west of the pub will lead you right to our front door. If you’re on Broad Street, turn onto Juniper Lane, home of Collusion Tap Works and The Lititz Shirt Factory. Our back door is just beyond their building. This is our main entrance for bicycle repair and an entrance with one easy step for strollers and wheelchairs.

Parking:

Our awesome downtown location means we aren’t surrounded on all sides by a parking lot (we actually love this). Don’t worry, we’ve got a few tricks that make parking and visiting easy:

  • We have three spaces on Juniper Lane that are dedicated to service bicycle drop-off and pick-up. These spaces are mere steps away from our service entrance.
  • On summer days and weekends all year long, Juniper Lane has plenty of free parking surrounding Lititz Elementary, steps away from our door.
  • Paid parking is available on Main Street.
  • South Cedar Street and Orange Street both offer on-street parking.
  • If you’re willing to walk two blocks, there’s a gravel lot on Water Street with free public parking. Bonus? The walk from the lot to our store will take you down the most beautiful stretch of Main Street.
