Urban Hikes with Earth to Lititz

Lititz, let’s hike!

We’re so excited to join our sister store, Earth to Lititz, for monthly urban hikes. These treks through town take place at 8 am on the Second Thursday of every month. We begin at Earth to Lititz, 56 East Main Street, and head off on foot. Our hikes tend to have a theme and can feature architectural marvels, unique gardens, or nature trails. We try to share historical details or general information as we go.

Best part? We bring biodegradable trash bags and pick up any litter we find along the way. Not only are we having an awesome morning in town, but we’re also leaving our favorite town better than we found it!

Hikes begin at 8 am. You can use the restroom at Earth to Lititz before departing.

There is no charge.

My wife and I visited Lititz Bike Works as novices. It’s been years since we’ve ridden a bike and Mark walked us through all of the options available. Of course, we each wanted different things and he had bikes in stock that worked perfectly for both of us! Our new e-bikes are fun and convenient, we highly recommend Lititz Bike Works to anyone shopping for a new ride!

Update! - amazing after the sale service too! We took back a bike for a little work and a few add on upgrades. And now, the bike is better than ever!

I just had my first experience with Lititz Bike Works. They are giving bikes to children in area for Xmas and my grandson was fortunate enough to receive one. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff makes me want to keep coming back.
And keep coming back I do.... This time for maintenance items I needed. Not sure why I’ve bought tubes through Amazon in the past, as the price is as good at my bike shop and the quality is consistent. Support your local bike shops - you can't find that kind of experience online!

I’ve worked with Mark since he opened his first bicycle shop in Intercourse, PA, about 10 years ago. After expanding to a second location in Lititz, he has consistently delivered exceptional service. Mark always greets me warmly and takes time to catch up whenever I visit the shop.

Recently, I was experiencing recurring issues with my bike’s shifting and drivetrain. Mark and Josh made the process of updating the components on my 15-year-old Lynskey Cooper seamless. They clearly explained what updates were necessary and why investing in my bike was worthwhile. Their guidance ensures I’ll be able to keep riding for years to come.

Saturday 7/11 - while Visiting from fla w my bike. Went for a ride and the rear sprocket came off the wheel. The tech fixed it in minutes with a new sprocket while I waited. Excellent service and saved my vacation.
