Lititz Outsider – coming to Lititz in 2026
Sometimes, things fall beautifully into place. Take, for example, this photo. It shows two couples who have so much in common – we’re both small business owners, we both share a love for travel and outdoor adventure, and we’re both ready to enter new chapters in our lives.
Bud and Alice, owners of Zum Anker Alley Shoppes, are ready to embrace retirement. Along with their famous shop dog, Totter, they’re excited to pack things up at their Main Street location and live out a care-free, adventure-filled new normal.
Rebecca and Mark (that’s us!), owners of Lititz Bikeworks and Earth to Lititz, are ready to realize a dream we’ve been working toward for years. We’re so excited to bring Lititz Bikeworks to the center of the downtown, into the old Lititz Record building that Bud and Alice have poured their hearts into…but with a fun, new twist!
In a few short months, we’ll open the doors of the building again, under a sign that says, Lititz Outsider. Inside, you’ll find Lititz Bikeworks and so much more. We’ll be expanding from bikes and service to an outdoor gear store. Imagine an extensive shoe department, hiking and climbing equipment, some light camping gear, active apparel, and more. Everything an “outsider” dreams of.
Earth to Lititz will remain at its current location.
Lititz Bikeworks will join the 4,000 square foot Lititz Outsider location.
To find us, head to the heart of Main Street and follow the sidewalk between The Bulls Head Public House and The Main Street Peddler.
We hope to be ready for you by the start of the busy summer season. In the meantime, we’ll continue serving all your bicycle needs at our current Lititz Bikeworks location at Rock Lititz.
Today, we’d like to send our love and warm wishes to Bud and Alice, who believe in our vision and share our excitement. They’ll be in the building through the end of the year. Please stop by and see them and wish them the very best. Bonus? They have tons of great gifts for everyone on your list.
We’d also love to tip our hats to the family of businesses who have been our neighbors at Rock Lititz for nearly a decade. It has been an honor to work and grow alongside you, but we know this isn’t goodbye. We’ll just be a short spin down the road.
To all of you, thanks. From Cranksgiving to kids clinics and everything in between, you’ve helped us arrive in this moment. We’re endlessly grateful.
