Lititz Bicycle Re-Cycle takes your old bike that you no longer ride and finds a worthy home for it.

Lititz Bicycle Re-Cycle

Our mission to give back to the community has never been more vivid, and we are thrilled to announce Lititz Bicycle Re-Cycle. This year we celebrated our 10th anniversary of Cranksgiving Ride, which over the 10 year period participants raised in excess of 120,000 pounds of food, and contributed tens of thousands of cash donations. Together we have made a difference to those in need within our community, and now we must look forward to the next 10 years.

We are proud to introduce the Lititz Bicycle Re-Cycle to the Warwick and Manheim Communities. With the help of two wonderful families who are no stranger to the concept of giving, this concept is now a reality.

How does the Lititz Bicycle Re-Cycle work?

If you have an old bike that is collecting dust in your garage and you no longer think you’ll use it, we will find new home for it. Bikes are means of transportation for adults and kids, and there are folks nearby who cannot afford a new or used bike, but still need to get around. We will take your old bike, make it safe and ride-able again, and donate it to a deserving rider, at no cost to you. Anyone who has a bike can request to donate it to the program. Lititz Bikeworks has the right to accept or refuse any donated bike.

  • Bikes must be 20” wheel size or greater and be deemed generally safe to ride after being repaired.
  • Cost to repair donated bikes must not be greater than $75. Lititz Bikeworks pays for this cost, not you.
  • Donations are accepted based on current inventory and season (we don’t have a lot of storage space :) )

Don’t have a bike, but still want to help out?

Monetary donations are the are the easiest and most straightforward way to support Lititz Bicycle Re-Cycle. We rely on your support to help pay for parts that go to restoring the bikes.
