It’s Cranksgiving Time!

Well it is that time of year again everyone. It is time pedal into the crisp fall air, and constant headwinds of Lancaster County for a good cause. On Saturday, November 5 we will ride “Cranksgiving” to fill the food pantry at Ephrata Area Social Services and provide Thanksgiving meals for those who cannot afford to provide one for themselves in the Lancaster Area.

Cranksgiving is a national event held by bike shops around the country. Bikeworks’ riders ride a 30 mile course this year through the beautiful and “farm fresh” (smell Manure here) countryside stopping at 3 different grocery stores buying food supplies and donating them immediately to Ephrata Area Social Services. Our truck and volunteers from EASS follow riders from store to store and collect all the food you buy, and at the end, it is weighed to see how much we donated. Over the last 6 years Bikeworks have donated the most food of any Cranksgiving event NATIONWIDE!!!!!

Please join us on this fun-filled day and help out a great cause. A link to free registration is below.
