Learn-to-ride kids clinics

Last year the learn-to-ride kids clinics were such an enormous success, all we could think about during the off season was how soon can we bring this event back! If you are a parent or kno someone who has a child struggling to get off their training wheels, then please read on.

Lititz Bikeworks’ learn-to-ride kids clinics is an event designed to take the pressure of teaching your child off you and let our staff do it for you. We have a team of dedicated professionals (and btw, we are parents too) who know exactly what it takes to get your kiddo rolling. Last year we had a 100% success rate with all the kids who enrolled.

The clinics are free but spots are, so we ask that you register in advance and only register your child for one clinic. Classes will be held on June 17 and 24 from 9-11am. Pick which day/time slot that works for you then enter your childs information, its that simple. A bike and helmet are required to attend the clinics. Bikeworks will have a free safety check for your childs bike on Friday Junee 16 and June 23. We strongly encourage you to bring the bike to us for a safety before attending the clinic.

The staff and group of volunteers will teach your child balance and the basics of pedaling a bike all by themselves. Safety is always our #1 concern, and our staff will walk (and run) next to your child as they pedal on the blacktop. When we feel your child is ready, we give them a little room to ride on their own while you watch in amazement.
